Allison + Garren | Short Film | The Grand on Foster

What an amazing day celebrating Allison + Garren and capturing the precious memories of their wedding day in this short film. I’ve shot at The Grand on Foster quite a few times and not to mention downtown Dothan in general, so I am always looking for ways to change things up a bit. While we always want to be consistent in the quality we turn over - we don’t want to be cookie cutter. When you shoot at the same location over and over, it can be quite redundant. How did I change this up? Ice cream!

Dothan Ice Cream Company was open while we were working on the couple’s session, and it was hot outside, so it was PERFECT to get these two sharing an ice cream cone! The footage turned out very sweet and fun. SO glad we took the chance with this idea. Not to mention throw a little support for a local small business.

The day was filled with many fun and heartfelt moments, and the reception was lit! Something I have been trying to do is record what I call lip sync videos - where I catch guests singing along with the music the DJ is playing. This crowd didn’t disappoint!
